I absolutely loved seeing even more of the world by heading to Sydney, Australia. It was so much fun to see all the sights. When I was there it was their spring so the weather was on the hotter side, but I was not boiling from the heat thankfully. My family and I were meeting some friends there at had a one year international work arrangement. They accompanied us on our adventurers and guided us through the city.
The first few days was hard to get out of bed due to the large time travel gap. Tired, we still pushed on to exploring some of Sydney. We all jumped onto the light rail, which is part of the transportation system with in Sydney, to go from Killara Station to to Circular Quay. The transportation in Sydney is convenient and would recommend getting a pass that is like a credit card for anything like taxi, public transit, and ferries around the Sydney area.
That first day that I was there we traveled to the Sydney Oprah house and got to see the Sydney Harbor Bridge. We got to venture onto some of the islands in the area due to the ferries. I enjoyed walking across the Harbor Bridge, while being able to look out on vast ocean and the Oprah House. My family and I decided to headed back to where we were staying in Killara and relax outside just listen to the birds.
In the morning of the next day we headed into the china town that is in the middle of the city. There we went to a zen garden and grabbed some food. Later we went to the zoo to see some kangaroos and and koalas. It was a supper fun experience to get to pet a kangaroo and view all these wild Australian animals. I would definitely recommend going to all these places.
